The 26th Annual OCD Conference is coming up fast! We’re so excited about all the programming we have lined up for you this July, including lots of opportunities to work the left side of your brain with music, visual arts, performing arts, and film.

Conference Events

Art Gallery

Take a stroll through the Exhibit Hall and get to know some of our community’s artists! The Annual OCD Conference Art Gallery will feature artwork submitted by members of the OCD community, from prints, to paintings, to mixed media, and more. Exhibit Hall, all days.

Karaoke Icebreaker

Head to the famous blues venue Antone’s Nightclub after dinner to show off your pipes and meet other Conference goers! Open to attendees 21+, this event is just three blocks from the Conference hotel. All attendees will be treated to two free drink tickets and light snacks thanks to Houston OCD Program. Thursday night at Antone’s Nightclub.

Improv for Anxiety

Join us for an interactive improv session for those with OCD and related disorders, led by the Hideout Theatre of Austin, TX! The session involves various games that encourage fun and impromptu activity while also providing exposure. Friday night, JW Grand 5.

Film Fights Back: An OCD Short Film Festival

Films featuring OCD as a subject can create a better understanding and enhance our shared experience. Come enjoy four award-winning short films that tackle stigma and show inventive ways to overcome obsessions, compulsions, and intrusive thoughts. A Q&A with some of the filmmakers will follow the screenings. Friday night, JW Grant 1/2/3.

OCD Conference Party

Don’t miss the Saturday night OCD Conference Party, featuring a live band plus line dancing and two-stepping instructors! Come to unwind, learn some dance moves, and mingle with other Conference goers at this fun and relaxing event. Saturday night.

For Kids

IOCDF’s Got Talent, Season 2

Do you have a special talent you would like to share? Do you play an instrument, sing, dance or know Kung Fu? Well, we want to see it at our second annual IOCDF’s Got Talent!
Not only will we have a great time, but there will also be prizes. Friday night, Lone Star B.
