Anxiety Disorders Treatment Center (Reid Wilson)
The 2-day intensive group program is a cognitive-behavioral treatment protocol in a private setting with a maximum of eight participants in group treatment. The program is held in its entirety over a weekend. The cost of this program is $375. The Anxiety Disorders Treatment Center began in 2004. Reid Wilson, PhD, serves as the director for the Center in Chapel Hill & Durham, NC. Dr. Wilson is the author of “Stopping the Noise in Your Head: The New Way to Overcome Anxiety & Worry” and “Don’t Panic: Taking Control of Anxiety Attacks” and “Facing Panic: Self-Help for People with Panic Attacks.” He is the co-author, with Dr. Edna Foa, of “Stop Obsessing! How to Overcome Your Obsessions & Compulsions” and the co-author, with Lynn Lyons, of “Anxious Kids, Anxious Parents: 7 Ways to Stop the Worry Cycle & Raise Courageous & Independent Children,” as well as “Playing with Anxiety: Casey’s Guide for Teens & Kids.” He designed & served as lead psychologist for American Airlines’ first national program for the fearful flier.
