We are an outpatient clinic of licensed clinical psychologists specializing in the treatment of OCD amongst children, adolescents, and adults. We primarily use ERP, but also draw upon CBT, ACT, and mindfulness based approaches when necessary. The therapists who treat OCD also are trained in habit reversal training for BFRBs. A subsect of our providers who specialize in OCD also specialize in eating disorders which can often be a complex comorbid diagnosis that accompanies OCD. The majority of our clinicians are also part of PSYPACT and so we can, therefore, virtually see clients in over 30 states across the country. We also have two metro-accessible physical office locations in Washington, DC and Arlington, VA. We have a diverse staff including individuals who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community and those who identify as South Asian and Black therapists.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
We often work with individuals with a co-occuring diagnosis of eating disorders. We have a team of 5 dietitians on our staff who we work closely with and how are specialized in the treatment of eating disorders. Typically we have clients see a dietitian each week to work on nutrition stabilization while psychologists target exposures to both OCD symptoms and eating disorder symptoms.
