Description:

The Tics, OCD and Related Disorders Program in the Department of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is a research and clinical program. Our clinical program endorses a multi-disciplinary approach to diagnosing, understanding and treating OCD, Tourette disorder, and related disorders. Our clinicians provide comprehensive evaluations and work with patients and their families to establish treatment plans that utilize evidence-based and effective treatment interventions, including specialized CBT strategies, such as Exposure and Response Prevention, Habit Reversal Therapy and Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT). We provide outpatient care to children, teens and adults. We have a limited number of treatment slots in which patients and families can work with a senior trainee via a lower fee model.

In addition to offering psychotherapy and psychopharmacology we have unique expertise in neuromodulation techniques, including transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and deep brain stimulation (DBS).

At this time, we do not offer an Intensive Outpatient Program nor residential care.
