Accessible Well-being Conference 2020 — OCD Hong Kong

November 21, 2020

Accessible Well-being Conference is a month-long programme organised by YAMA Foundation, a registered charity that sets out to make yoga, art, and meditation accessible to Hong Kong’s underserved communities, including those with special needs, chronic illness, disabilities, and people who have vulnerability or disadvantage of any kind.

The conference involves a series of events, including  panel discussions, activities, workshops and demonstrations, led by the city’s forerunners in accessibility and well-being, for a series of target groups with disabilities and special needs, their families, carers, seniors and other health / well-being professionals.

People with disabilities (visible or invisible), chronic illness or stressful life experiences have higher levels of anxiety, depression and feelings of hopelessness.

Our founder and CEO Minal Mahtani will lead an experiential workshop on 21 November at 2:30pm, to share practical and effective ways to manage stress and anxiety in daily life, and help restore a sense of calm, clarity and balance.
