Kids Corner: Stories and Fun for OCD Awareness Week with Author Brian Wray
October 12 at 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm EDT

Join us for a captivating and imaginative hour with children’s author Brian Wray. This event is perfect for children aged 3-10, accompanied by their parents/guardians. It will feature songs and activities lead by IOCDF Advocates, Darcy Howell and Caroline K, along with a reading of Unraveling Rose and an interactive drawing demonstration provided by Brian.
Brian has been writing professionally since 2003, when he was awarded the Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. Through Rose, Wray addresses obsessive compulsive disorder, the struggles that come along with it, and how to overcome them. He’s aiming to eliminate the stigma for children’s mental health through storytelling.
Bring your paper and crayons and get ready to enjoy this imaginative hour of reading, creativity, and fun exploring themes of understanding, kindness, and overcoming the challenges of OCD from a kid’s perspective!
