October 12 at 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm HKT
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is a very challenging, misunderstood, and neglected disorder. OCD is more than what meets the eye. With its repetitive intrusive thoughts/images and overwhelming urges to perform compulsions, sufferers are left with fear, distress, and some disruption to daily life. Living with OCD can give rise to feelings of loneliness, anger, anxiety, and helplessness. If you are suffering from OCD, you are not alone, there is hope and recovery is possible.
In this talk with Minal, you will learn practical and effective tools that are scientifically proven to help combat OCD such as CBT/ERP, and strategies to bring about feelings of calm and relaxation. These techniques can be applied and utilized in everyday life to make you feel more in control of your OCD and to experience moments of peace.
