Topic: The Impact of Language on Treatment
Join us as we discuss the impact of language on the mental health field in general with a specific focus on OCD. We will discuss the ways that language may impact one’s access to treatment, understanding of their diagnosis and perspective of their journey. We will focus on the language used in the OCD field and the ways we can focus on the language used for a more positive impact.
