This lunch and learn will focus on do’s and don’ts in exposure therapy that center on engagement of justice based OCD treatment. Many OCD ERP exercises are outdated and often stigmatizing to marginalized groups. Join experts Liz McIngvale, PhD and Chris Trondsen, AMFT, APCC as they talk with panelists Lauren Wadsworth, PhD, ABPP and Stephanie Pinder-Amaker, PhD about how to properly do treatment that empowers all populations.
Dr. Stephanie Pinder-Amaker is the Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer and the Founding Director of the College Mental Health Program, at McLean Hospital. She is also an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Lauren Wadsworth serves as a Senior Advisor to the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Office at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. She is the founder and director of the Genesee Valley Psychology (GVP), an OCD clinic providing evidence-based treatment to the Rochester, NY area. She is a Clinical Senior Instructor in Psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
