In Orange County, participants will enjoy a fun day outdoors in the sun celebrating OCD Awareness Week. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about OCD and its treatment from local clinicians who specialize in the treatment of OCD. Individuals in recovery from the disorder will also share their OCD success stories. Attendees will be served a catered lunch and participate in classic games such as a watermelon eating contest, a water balloon toss, and a three-legged race– all to earn prizes! Additionally, a DJ will play music on professional sound equipment while people have the opportunity to meet other people with OCD from their local OCD community. Attendees will also be able to participate in OCD Jeopardy, get airbrushed tattoos, partake in a raffle, and more! The kids (and some adults) will especially love the bounce house!
