OCD Southern California’s 5th Annual (Virtual) OCD Conference
July 31, 2021 at 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EDT
Our 5th Annual OCD (virtual) Conference will occur on Saturday, July 31st, at 9 am PST. Our last conference had over 400 attendees. We look forward to expanding the conference reach to more individuals now that we are utilizing a virtual platform! The conference will start with a keynote presentation featuring a message of hope from the IOCDF’s national and lead advocates: Liz McIngvale, Ethan S. Smith, Chris Trondsen, Valerie Andrews, and Tommy Smalley– 5 individuals who have successfully managed their OCD. Once the keynote concludes, we will be showcasing two OCD-themed documentaries during lunch and offering several community discussion groups. Then following lunch, there are thirty breakout sessions being offered in the afternoon. These breakout sessions will include OCD-themed presentations from over 70 top doctors, psychiatrists, therapists, and advocates who focus on treating OCD and related disorders. There will also be information booths from treatment centers and community events at the conference to meet and gain support from other attendees.
Further information, including the title and summaries of our breakout sessions, are offered on our website: http://ocdsocal.org. We look forward to you joining us! This conference is also open to people outside of the Southern California area; anyone from anywhere can join! It is the perfect event for individuals with OCD and related disorders, their families and loved ones, and clinicians! Up to 5.25 CEs available for LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, and psychologists.
