OCD Twin Cities Presents: A Conversation with Bryan Piatt

October 17, 2019 at 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm EDT

Join us for an evening with Bryan Piatt, who has been opening up about his struggle with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety.

Bryan will sit down with OCD Twin Cities president Alison Dotson for a conversation about living with OCD and anxiety — and showing up even when it’s the last thing we want to do. Learn why Bryan decided to share his story with his followers and fans, and what the experience has been like for him.

About Bryan

Bryan is currently a producer at KARE 11 and formerly an anchor and reporter for the NBC station. He is the co-founder of the Refresh Network, a media platform dedicated to creating safe spaces for people to share their journey with mental health. Bryan recently opened up publicly about his own struggles with anxiety and OCD. He’s hoping that, by sharing his own struggles, people can feel a little less alone in theirs.

Prior to joining KARE 11 in 2011, Bryan worked at KEYC-TV in Mankato and KAAL-TV in Austin, Minnesota. Last season, Bryan was the studio host for the Minnesota United FC radio broadcasts.

Bryan is a yoga instructor and has found the practice to be a beautiful tool in helping him manage his mental health.
