#OCDWeek Virtual Voices for Mental Health
October 12, 2021 at 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDT
FREE
Want to get more involved in mental health policy advocacy? You don’t have to be a policy expert–just an expert in your story, and how the issues impact you.
Join us for a virtual lunch-and-learn that will prepare you to use your unique story to effect change in the mental health public policy space. Activist and mental health advocate Vinay Krishnan will share how to use your voice to enact policy.
This event will stream live on our YouTube and Facebook platforms. No registration required; just tune in!
Vinay Krishnan is a writer, attorney, and activist living in Brooklyn. He is the National Field Organizer for the Center for Popular Democracy, where he helps lead campaigns to end the overdose epidemic and achieve Medicare for All. Vinay is a mental health advocate for the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
