Southeast Regional OCD Conference

June 12, 2021 at 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT

This FREE virtual conference will be held on June 12th, 2021, from 12:00pm-8:00pm (Eastern Time), and will include stories, an expert/community panel, a live-streaming of an OCD documentary followed by Q&A with the director, break-out sessions, and social events!

Everyone involved in the OCD community (e.g., children, adults, parents, families, clinicians, etc.) is welcome to join us! We think this will be a great event to allow attendees to connect with others in the OCD community!

12-12:15pm: Welcome/Introduction

12:15pm-12:45pm: Collective Story Sharing Keynote

12:45-2pm: Community Panel

Comprised of individuals affected by OCD, clinicians, and family members
2-2:15pm: BREAK

2:15pm-3:30pm: Breakout Groups

Breakout Groups will be facilitated by clinicians and individuals affected by OCD, and will cover a range of relevant topics (e.g., How to help a family member with OCD; Dealing with Stigma; Taboo OCD symptoms). Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a group of their choosing.
3:30pm-3:45pm: BREAK

3:45pm-6pm: Streaming of the OCD Documentary, Uncovering OCD: The Truth About Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, followed by a special Q&A with Director and IOCDF Advocate, Ethan Smith.

6-7pm: Dinner Break

7-8pm: Evening Social Activities
