Take Me to Church: An Introduction to Scrupulosity OCD
July 16, 2019 at 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm EDT
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is often known to affect elements of one’s life that they hold dear to them, creating havoc in these areas that once added value and purpose. Scrupulosity is a form of OCD that involves religious and moral obsessions, resulting in exaggerated rituals and compulsions to avoid fear of having violated a religious or moral doctrine. Come hear about how this disorder is affecting many people in the religious community and ways that proper treatment can help them gain a more balanced personal faith and sense of spirituality. Presented by Mallory Eastman, MA, AMFT.
