Teenage Support Group Meeting — OCD Hong Kong
November 28, 2020 at 11:30 am - 12:30 pm EST
Teenagers are one of the most vulnerable groups of people susceptible to developing mental illness and we wanted to cater for this audience. Also, over the last 9 months, we have received many emails from teens asking for support to help them with anxiety or depression that has been triggered by a disruption of their life due to the pandemic. We launched Teenage Support Group meeting for English speaking teens (15–18-year-old) in October, which will continue this month.
The teenage meeting provides teenage OCD and Anxiety sufferers the opportunity to share their struggles with others, learn about anxiety and depression and coping skills to manage their anxiety.
The group meetings are facilitated by the CEO and founder of OCDAHK who is a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist, and Katrina Rogza, a clinical psychologist from The Jadis Blurton Development Centre.
The coming Teenage Support Group Meeting will be on 28 November, 11:30am – 12:30pm, and the next one will be on 12 December 2020. Please register as soon as possible to secure a space.
