My strong desire is to serve the hoarding population in the Austin metro area. Home visits are critical to hoarding and some other anxiety disorders and my comfort in home visits is critical to the success of this work I am doing.

Meeting Day & Frequency: Six Fridays 1:00-2:30 (repeat every 9 weeks)
Open To: Persons living with a person who hoards or grew up in a family with a hoarder.
Group Description: This group will be supported with a trained clinician who treats hoarding disorder and well as co-ocurring issues such as anxiety/OCD, depression, developmental trauma, and complex trauma. Each module consists of 6 sessions. Module 1 focuses on education about the disorder. Modules 2-6 include guest speakers who also work in the field of clutter, organization, psychotherapy, and psychiatry.
22 years as licensed social worker. 19 years a clinical social worker working mostly with adult and older adults in medical settings. Last 8 years have included home visits in my practice. My work with OCD is limited. I am developing working relationships with BTTI colleagues in Austin whom have encouraged my involvement in BTTI and they will continue to support me in developing my skills and expertise.
