Narrative of Services:
My clinical practice is dedicated to the treatment of OCD and related disorders. I treat patients across the lifespan, beginning at age 6. I am licensed in Alaska for the sole purpose of providing evidence based care via secure video conferencing to residents across the state. I am licensed in 6 states in the US and treat patients in various countries around the world. My clinical practice is focused on OCD and related disorders, includes Tics/Tourette and Body Focused Repetitive Behavior. I provide evidence based treatments such as Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) and the ComB model for BFRBs such as Trichotillomania and Skin Picking.
Training Description:
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My clinical interests and treatment methods lie heavily in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy specific to OCD and Anxiety. I completed my graduate fellowship at the University of Tennessee Center for Developmental Disabilities and am a BTTI graduate. I have been featured in various publications, news program, podcasts and the like. I hold licenses in 6 states in the USA and also see patients in various countries around the world. I feel a good clinician never stops learning and I keep up to date on all research.
Diversity Statement:
I have extensive experience working with diverse populations. I currently treat patients on 6 continents, including native tribes, international communities, and did extensive work in East Africa over the course of 2 years. I am educated and sensitive to cultural issues and their interplay with treatment.
