I have 30 years of experience treating adults and children with a wide range of issues including anxiety OCD and OCD spectrum disorders, depression, ADHD, and marital issues. I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Social work in 1983 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am licensed in the state of Wisconsin as an independent Clinical Social worker, and completed the BTTI training through IOCDF in 2012, and have received specialized supervision, and consulted with specialists in the field.
I provide assessment and treatment to youth ages 3-18 for a wide variety of presenting issues including anxiety such as OCD, specific phobia, generalized anxiety, school refusal. I do consult with the parents of children and provide them with education and parenting strategies specific to their child’s needs. I will also contact teachers as needed and include them when appropriate to support the treatment efforts. I provide treatment for adults with OCD, OCD spectrum disorders and other anxiety disorders as well. My treatment is individually-tailored to the needs of each person, utilizing ERP, and CBT techniques.
