Foster Cole, PhD
Narrative of Services:
Dr. Cole provides Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety disorders as experienced by preschoolers, children, and teens. He also treats OCD that co-occurs with autism spectrum, attention, impulse control, mood, and behavioral issues. Dr. Cole enjoys seeing young people understand the nature of anxiety and then acting to overcome the difficulties it causes in their lives.
Dr. Cole has a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Arkansas and completed an internship in Health Psychology at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics. He is a member of the International OCD Foundation, Anxiety Disorders Association of America (ADAA) and has attended a large number of trainings on OCD at a variety of conferences over time and enjoys staying current with psychological research on OCD and its treatment. Dr. Cole has had an independent practice since 1989 with preschoolers, children, and teens, assessing and treating a full range of mental health and developmental issues. He has been treating OCD and other anxiety disorders since 1998.
