Narrative of Services:

Mr. Fried has a full-time private practice in the treatment of Anxiety Disorders (such as OCD, Panic Disorder, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). Fifty percent of his practice is for persons with OCD. OCD models and principles of behavioral treatment include Exposure with Response Prevention and mindfulness- based strategies. Treatment of Compulsive Hoarding is based on Frost and Steketee’s model. Individual therapy is available for adults, adolescents, and children [parent(s) always included in sessions]. Group therapy is available for adults. Mr. Fried’s practice is characterized by short-term, comprehensive, symptom-focused treatment.

Training Description:

Mr. Fried’s interest in treating OCD began in 1991; his first formal training in OCD took place during 1993 at the Anxiety Disorders Association of America’s (ADAA) conference in Charleston, SC. Since that time, he has attended many other specialty conferences and workshops in OCD, including IOCDF conferences as well as trainings with Dr Edna Foa and Drs Randy Frost and Gail Steketee.
