Narrative of Services:
Dr. Halper is a Board Certified psychiatrist with an interest in both cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychopharmacology and more than 30 years of experience in the use of these therapies. He was a pioneer in the combined use of CBT and medication. Dr. Halper develops a treatment plan with each patient which takes into account the individual’s needs and preferences. He is particularly interested in the integration of cognitive therapy and exposure and response prevention which is delivered in the form of behavioral experiments. He treats complex cases that do not respond to prolonged exposure and response prevention alone.
