Rachel Hammons LPC-MHSP
While I work with other struggles as well, my primary focus has been working with and treating OCD. I offer psychoeducation and assessments, equipping individuals with tools they need to practice lifelong management of it. We work together in sessions to target behaviors while processing and creating insight into emotions/past experiences that contribute to one’s struggle. OCD has been my primary focus since entering into the professional world as a counselor, and I’ve worked with many individuals struggling with scrupulosity, harm-OCD, contamination, hoarding, trichotillomania, and more. I’d love to join you in this process toward healing and recovery from OCD.

I have received and sought out numerous courses involving working with multicultural populations, as well as have worked with individuals of varying race/cultural backgrounds. I by no means understand it all, and I work to understand the culture of each person in front of me as unique, without assumptions, but I am committed to continuing to understand, learn, and educate myself in regards to those of different cultures than myself.
