Narrative of Services:
CBT (ACT, ERP, and exposure therapy). I also offer medication expertise in OCD. Roughly 50 percent of my patients are on the OCD spectrum at the BU Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders.
I have long inspired to the OCD community. I first coordinated the research at OCDI, McLean Hospital, in 2011. Later, I engaged in a pilot study to utilize transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) at Duke Brain Stimulation Center in 2013. I completed two-year ACT practicum through ACT@Duke during my residency training at Duke University Medical Center. After my training, I have been at Boston University Center of Anxiety and Related Disorder (BU CARD), a traditional heavily exposure-based CBT center, for the past 4 years.
I am dedicated to cultural diversity and have been studying particularly acculturation of Asian males in the USA.
I work with diverse population and join psychiatry grand round at Boston Medical Center, which routinely offer cultural competency and multi-cultural discussion.
