Dr. Islam is in private practice in the area of Psychosomatic Medicine. His major interest is in taking care of patients with unexplained symptoms with negative lab work, chronic headaches and pain, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, panic disorders, eating disorders, sleep disorders, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), attention deficit disorder (ADD), post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Dr. Islam is a staff member of Baptist Hospital and Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
