Marian Keith, MAT, LMFT
Narrative of Services:
My practice includes clients who have been diagnosed with OCD Spectrum Disorders and want to experience Exposure Response Prevention. Clients who come with Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, Depression, Substance Use Disorders, Eating Disorders, and/or relationship problems and I diagnose OCD symptoms after a careful assessment. We discuss information about OCD and possible treatments. I make a careful assessment of symptoms and resources. Clients are educated about CBT, ERP, Mindfulness, and ACT. We discuss that the intent of ERP is not habituation but the increased ability to live with uncertainty. Together we construct a hierarchy. I involve family members in treatment.
I have twenty years experience treating Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, ADHD, Eating Disorders, Substance-Use Disorders, Depression Disorders, Impulse Control Disorders, and co-morbid conditions and three years treating OCD. I attended three full days at the 2015 IOCDF Conference and Pre-Conference Training Consultation Groups. I attended two years of all day Symposiums by Obsessive Compulsive Foundation of Jacksonville.
I completed Massachusetts General Hospital on line course CBT for OCD taught by Sabine Wilhelm, PhD and Noah Berman, PhD for 10 credit hours.
