OCD and related disorders, anxiety disorders constitutes about half of clients who I see. I do in-office therapy, exposure and response prevention. We also provide community-based sessions to go where the difficulties are, if the client is having a hard time carrying out the interventions on their own.
I have been a psychologist for 25 years. I have treated OCD and other anxiety disorders since graduate school, which focused on Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT). I have since been credentialed in Applied Behavior Analysis, which is a new and improved way of implementing behavior therapy. I have also had further training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which I use just as often as CBT.
