Virginia Lindahl PhD
About half of the clients I treat are diagnosed with OCD and many more have anxiety disorders. I have been practicing for 20 years; over that time, I have treated countless clients with OCD, OC-related disorders, and anxiety. I use mostly ERP when treating OCD but also incorporate other aspects of cognitive-behavior therapy, mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). At this time, I am offering both in-person and telehealth therapy. I’m excited to work with you to reclaim your life from OCD.
I graduated with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, having received pre-doctoral training in cognitive behavioral therapy at four different locations, working with young adults, adults, and geriatric populations. Since then, I have treated clients with OCD, OCD spectrum disorders, and anxiety disorders for 20 years. I have engaged in several hundred hours of training/advanced training in CBT, OCD, anxiety disorders, and ERP in workshops and post-doctoral training seminars. I have received significant supervision and consultation services from a member of IOCDF’s Scientific Advisory Board and regularly engage in peer consultation with other OCD specialists.
