Narrative of Services:
A good portion of my clientele suffer from OC related disorders. I implement empirically-based treatments that include exposure, response prevention, habit reversal, and thought restructuring. Additionally, I provide clinical expertise and teach my clients how to understand and manage problematic thinking and behaviors through skill building and active reflection. Lastly, I continuously update my knowledge and skills regularly through consultation, literature review, workshops, and conferences.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY26902) specializing in cognitive-behavioral therapy. I earned my master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Francisco. While studying at CSPP, I worked in a variety of settings including inpatient medical settings, county hospitals, residential substance use treatment centers, community mental health centers, and Veterans Affairs hospitals. I then completed my post-doctoral training at Berkeley Mental Health treating clients with OC related disorders, personality disorders, and severe mental illness. Currently, I consult with a senior CBT psychologist, who specializes in OCD treatments.
