Michael Manchester MA, LMHC
My tele-therapy practice specializes in the treatment of OCD, OC related disorders and anxiety disorders. Typically my practice caseload is fifty to seventy-five percent OCD related, with or without co-occurring diagnoses. My practice is primarily tele-therapy and is HIPPA compliant. While my practice is primarily tele-therapy home visits and field visits are also offered as needed.
Helping people with OCD and related disorders for over ten years. My training includes BTTI I and II for OCD (Adult, and Pediatric.) Additional training in hoarding, and body focused repetitive behaviors (TLC Foundation.) Certified in Cognitive Behavior Therapy – CBT (Beck Institute). Distance Certified Counselor (DCC). Extensive training in Acceptance Commitment Therapy – ACT (Praxis and Omega Institute). Numerous hours of continuing education hours through the IOCDF.
My practice recognizes, respects, promotes and celebrates the value of cultural diversity and has adopted and implemented inclusive policies and strategies to advance cultural diversity as a positive force in the community. OCD knows no boundaries relative to race, age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disabilities, or social class. In my work, I collaborate with my patients to consider their cultural beliefs and the effect that can have on their treatment.
I have completed the multicultural/diversity course work and training as part of my Master’s Degree in Counseling.
