Charles S. Mansueto, PhD is founder and director of the Behavior Therapy Center of Greater Washington (BTC), the Mid-Atlantic center for treatment of OCD and OC related disorders. 16 staff members provide full-range of individual and group services for patients, including: ERP, cognitive therapy, skills training, in-vivo therapy, family therapy, intensive treatment, and school consultation. The center treats the broad range of OC related disorders, including: Trichotillomania, Hoarding, Skin Picking, Scrupulosity, Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), Tourette Disorder, and others.
Training Description:
I received training and supervision in treatment of OCD duirng my year of post-doctoral internship at the Behavior Therapy Unit of Temple University School of Medicine from 1979-1980. I joined the faculty immediately thereafter and treated children and adolescents with OCD at Temple from 1980-1985. Concurrently I had established a private practice in Maryland specializing in OCD that grew to become the Behavior Therapy Center of Greater Washington (BTC), the Mid-Atlantic treatment center for OCD and OC related disorders. BTC staff have treated more than 10,000 sufferers of OCD and related disorders in almost 30 years of existence.
