Estelita Marquez-Floyd, MD
Narrative of Services:
Statistically OCD carries a lifetime prevalence of 2.5% in the US and a 6-month and 1-month prevalence rates of 1.5% and 1.3%. On average 10% of my practice consists of patients being treated for OCD and a guesstimate of 20-30 % are being treated for OC related disorders. I have been treating OCD since 1987 when my general and then later child and adolescent psychiatric training began. I have since very much enjoyed a comprehensive approach to the patient but within a frame work of CBT/ERP.
