Narrative of Services:

I have been a practitioner for 25 years, in private practice for the last 17. I utilize a variety of modalities depending on my assessment of each patient. I am trained, certified and highly experienced in CBT. I use CBT, DBT and ACT with many dual-diagnosis patients. I have treated about 250 individuals with OCD and/or an OCD-Spectrum disorder and hundreds with addictions and other compulsive disorders.

Training Description:

I did my clinical training at McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, in 1991-1992 in an in-patient unit, the 1st dual diagnosis unit in the U.S. Many of the clients abusing substances had co-occurring disorders including eating disorders and other compulsive behaviors. Up to 70% of them were diagnosed with OCD. In 2004 I began taking several post-graduate training courses, resulting in my certification in CBT, EAP, coaching, as well as over 100 hours of training in DBT at the Bridge of Central Mass in 2012 and 2013 as well as several other trainings.
