Peggy McMahon, PhD

Dr. McMahon has been treating OCD patients for 15+ years. Her practice is 90% OCD patients. She has received specialized training in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder from attending the IOCDF's Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) and the Advanced Behavior Therapy Training Institute (ABBTI). She has also received one-on-one consultations from BTTI faculty. She serves children, adolescents, and adults with a therapeutic approad marked by professionalism, accesibility, and a depth of clinical knowledge.
Peggy McMahon, PhD, is a clinical psychologist, author, and research specializing in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. She also facilitates monthly OCD support groups for patients and their families. Dr. McMahon earned her Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and then completed a fellowship at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. She is the author of several journal articles on the impact of psychological issues on physical health. Her research has appeard in peer-reviewed medical journals and has been presented at national and international medical conferences.
