Narrative of Services:

I have been treating people with OCD with CBT in both my private practice – currently located in Woodland Hills and Westlake Village, CA – and in mental health clinics. I co-facilitated a cognitive-behavioral OCD treatment group for about 3 years. The intensive, transdiagnostic anxiety treatment workshop that I developed – effective for OCD – is currently in use at Kaiser Permanente Dept. of Psychiatry and in my private practice, and has helped hundreds of clients. Men and women with OCD currently make up about 5% of my clientele.

Training Description:

I have been treating clients with OCD for 25 years. I utilize CBT and mindfulness-based psychotherapy. I have lectured internationally on anxiety disorder treatment, published 9 articles and chapters, and co-authored "The Monster in the Cave: How to Face Your Fear and Anxiety and Live Your Life," a critically acclaimed self-help book with chapters on OCD. I learned OCD treatment at day-long workshops with Edna Foa, Gail Steketee, and the staff of the UCLA-NPI OCD Program, as well as through numerous trainings with experts including Reid Wilson and Jonathan Abramowitz.
