Narrative of Services:

Currently, I provide individual (child and adult) and family therapy for those with OCD. I coordinate care with psychiatrists who are prescribing for my clients. Approximately 20% of current clients have OCD and another 30-40% have another anxiety disorder. I do assessments of symptoms through use of the Y-BOCs/CY-BOCs as well as other measures for generalized anxiety and mood. Over the last several months, I’ve been doing tele-health which has provided a great opportunity for ERP. Because there are no other OCD therapists in my community, my plan is to move my practice to almost exclusively OCD.
Over the last 20 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients from diverse backgrounds. When I meet with clients at the initial visit, I explore values, beliefs and culture to ensure that my services are respectful and inclusive.
Facilities accessible by clients of all mobility levels (ADA accessible): Yes

Training Description:

I have nearly 15 years of experience providing psychotherapy services to children and adults with OCD. I attended the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute in 2008 and received individual consultation from a faculty member over the years on an as needed basis. I’ve attended several of the OCD conferences and have stayed informed with the research and publications. I have training in CBT, DBT, ACT and am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Over the last 20 years that I’ve practiced, I’ve also provided treatment for mood, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, eating disorders and behavioral/parenting issues.

I’ve received cultural competency through graduate program and organizations that I’ve worked for. I also make it a point to stay current through reading information, attending trainings at conferences and using resources through my professional organizations – American Psychological Association, NASW, etc.
