This clinic has been treating patients for many years. We offer outpatient evaluations and treatment using pharmacotherapy and behavioral treatments. We are able to offer intensive outpatient behavioral therapy to a limited degree. The clinic is closely realted to the research activities at Johns Hopkins and Dr. Nestadt co-directs the clinic. Dr. Gerald Nestadt is the Rudolf Hoehn-Saric and Evanne Hoehn-Saric Professor of Anxiety and OCD Research in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in the Johns Hopkins Medical School and Professor of Mental Health in the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins.
He is the director of the Johns Hopkins OCD Clinic, and teaches about this disorder. He is active in research, clinical treatment, and education in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). He completed his psychiatric residency training and a psychiatric epidemiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins. He has been on the Hopkins faculty for the past 30 years.
