Narrative of Services:
In my practice, I offer individual therapy for those struggling with OCD and other related disorders. I have about 5 years of experience working in this population and offer an individualized treatment plan, tailoring the needs of each client. I have treated a minimum of 30 clients with OCD and related disorders. The treatment includes CBT, ACT, DBT along with ERP. The majority of the current OCD clients I treat are at Community West, an Intensive Outpatient Treatment Center where I work in Los Angeles, CA. I do however, work with clients with OCD in private practice as well.
I work with a clients who have varying anxiety disorders and OCD, some of which are co-occurring with mood and depressive disorders and substance related disorders. These disorders include but are not limited to Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Eating Disorders and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. I work first and foremost with the most acute disorder, but always incorporate treatment for both in the therapy.
Facilities accessible by clients of all mobility levels (ADA accessible): Yes
Training Description:
I have worked at several different treatment centers specializing in OCD and Eating Disorders, including PCH Treatment Center, BHC Alhambra and currently Community West. At these centers, I have received specialized training in Exposure Response Prevention Therapy, the the gold standard approach to treating both OCD. I receive weekly individual and group supervision from the director of the OCD program at Community West, an active member of IOCDF. I have attended workshops and read OCD curriculum to help support my work.
My education and training in diverse populations has been extensive. It was a significant part of the curriculum in graduate school at the University of Southern California and my training sites before becoming licensed. I regularly attend diversity trainings to enhance my competency in working with diverse populations, including minority groups and the LGBTQIA+ population.
