Narrative of Services:

The Long Island Counseling and Anxiety center was founded to meet the growing need for effective treatment of children and families contending with Anxiety and OCD.

We are licensed clinicians with training and expertise in effective and established techniques for cognitive-behavior therapy for the full array of anxiety disorders.

LICA provides diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of mental health and related issues delivered in a warm, compassionate setting for children and teenagers, as well as for adults.

Training Description:

I am the founder and director of the Long Island Counseling and Anxiety Center. Founding LICA was the natural progression and outgrowth of my private practice that I started over five years ago.

My areas of specialization include:
• Anxiety Disorders, Including OCD and Phobias
• ADHD, Adolescence
• Marital and Relationship issues
• Religious Issues
• Parenting
• Childhood Related Issues.

In addition to advanced training in OCD treatment through Ohel Institute , I have been privileged to benefit from the excellent guidance provided through advanced supervision under Anthothy Puliafico PhD, Co-director the Children’s Day Unit at Columbia University.
