Narrative of Services:
The Rothman Center is a multi-disciplinary facility that specializes in anxiety and obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders. We offer outpatient therapy, intensive (daily) treatment programs, and psychiatric services. We also typically have opportunities for patients to participate in relevant research. We work with children, adolescents, and adults. Our primary treatment approach is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), with a specialty in exposure and response prevention (ERP), habit reversal training (HRT), and comprehensive behavioral intervention for tics (CBIT).
Facilities accessible by clients of all mobility levels: Yes
The Rothman Center at the University of South Florida specialized in assessment and treatment of OCD and related disorders, including tic disorders hair pulling, skin picking, and anxiety. My internship (University of Florida), post-doctoral fellowship (USF Rothman Center), and subsequent career (USF Rothman Center) has specialized in working with individuals with these disorders. We also conduct significant research in these and related fields.
