Caroline Salz, LMFT
Narrative of Services:
I have treated a minimum of 20 clients with OCD and OC related disorders. The treatment includes CBT and ACT along with ERP if needed. The majority of OCD clients I treat are at Community West, an Intensive Outpatient Treatment Center where I work in Los Angeles, CA. I do however, work with clients with OCD in private practice as well.
I work with a clients who have varying anxiety disorders and OCD, some of which are co-occurring with mood and depressive disorders and substance related disorders. These disorders include but are not limited to Bipolar, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Alcohol Use Disorder. I work first and foremost with the most acute disorder, but always incorporate treatment for both in the therapy.

Training Description:
I have worked at Community West Intensive Outpatient Treatment Center for one year and 3 months as an OCD Therapist. I receive weekly individual and group supervision from the director of the OCD program at CW, who is an active member of IOCDF. I have attended workshops and read OCD curriculum to help support my work.
Diversity Statement:
My education and training in diverse populations has been extensive. It was a significant part of the curriculum in graduate school, and at my training site-Southern California Counseling Center. As a trainee, I attended weekly trainings, which often included topics of diversity. As a trainee, I co-facilitated a group that specifically worked with minorities and former gang members.
