Anna Schrack PhD, NCSP
Due to COVID-19, my practice currently provides teletherapy. We are looking forward to resuming in-person sessions when it is safe to do so. I provide evidence-based treatment for OCD and related disorders. These disorders include social anxiety, phobias, hoarding, trichotillomania, skin picking/excoriation. I am trained to use evidenced-based practices such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Habit Reversal Training (HRT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). At any given time, approximately 80% of my caseload includes individuals with OCD and related disorders.
For co-occurring disorders (such as OCD and phobias, social anxiety, ASD, Tourette’s, ADHD, or Depression), treatment typically begins with ERP and then moves onto symptoms of other disorders. Of course, throughout treatment, all concerns are incorporated into the treatment picture.
Diversity Statement:
While with the University of Florida intensive OCD Program, individuals from all over the world would participate in the program for treatment. This experience helped to provide me with culturally diverse training.
I am a licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist. My training includes three years of experience with the University of Florida Intensive OCD Program. While with UF, I was able to treat many children, adolescents, and adults with OCD and related disorders. My experience in the schools helps to provide families with guidance for students who struggle with anxiety. I continue to keep up to date on the latest treatment recommendations. I have been in private practice in Tampa, Florida since 2019.
