Narrative of Services:
In my private practice, the Surmount Center for Cognitive Behavioral Health, I focus on assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults with OCD, OCD spectrum disorders, anxiety disorders, and related disorders. I provide evidence based treatment, including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness. Besides office-based-sessions I offer home visits, community based treatment, videoconferencing and intensive outpatient treatment as clinically indicated. I also treat agoraphobia, generalized anxiety disorder, illness anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder (fear of public speaking, performance anxiety, etc.) specific phobias (fear or flying, vomiting, etc.)
I am a board certified counselor, licensed LMHC in Massachusetts and licensed LCPC in Illinois. I received my MS in Clinical Counseling from the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago where I received the Dean’s award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in Clinical Psychology. Post masters I trained at the Anxiety Treatment Center of Greater Chicago, a nationally renowned treatment facility for anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and OCD spectrum disorders. I presented and let workshops at regional and national conferences.
