I have an independent clinical psychology practice within a group setting with an emphasis on treatment of adolescents and adults. I see patients with a variety of disorders including OCD, anxiety, and depressive disorders. My orientation is primarily cognitive-behavioral therapy and includes ERP. We have relationships with various psychiatric consultants who can prescribe medications for our patients. I would estimate that at any given time approximately 10-15% of my patient caseload has OCD or an OC Related Disorder.

PhD in Psychology (Clinical Area); Initial psychology license in 1978 (California), now licensed clinical psychologist in Virginia. Previous Air Force clinical psychologist (8 years), various public service positions in community mental health, state hospital, and juvenile justice settings. Previous experience supervising pre and post-doctoral psychology students and currently teaching and supervising psychiatry residents in CBT at VCU School of Medicine. Completed a CBT one year post-graduate training program at the Atlanta Center for Cognitive Therapy in association with Georgia State University. Various CBT Workshops. In private practice group, Dominion Behavioral Healthcare, since 2007. Treated OCD cases in most of these settings.
