Dr. Spofford specializes in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related conditions with adults and adolescents. He has received extensive training in the application of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and the delivery of exposure and response prevention (ERP) in the treatment of OCD and OC-related difficulties.

Dr. Christopher Spofford is a licensed clinical psychologist in NH and Assistant Professor at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. He completed his doctoral training at the University of Massachusetts Amherst followed by a post-doctoral fellowship year in OCD Research at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Prior to his graduate training, Dr. Spofford worked as a community residence counselor at McLean Hospital’s OCD Institute. Dr. Spofford specializes in the treatment of OCD and OCD-related disorders and also co-leads a psychoeducational support group for individuals and families struggling with OCD.
