Christopher Spofford, PhD
Narrative of Services:
Dr. Spofford specializes in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related conditions with adults and adolescents. He has received extensive training in the application of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques in the treatment of anxiety and depression in both individual and group formats.
Dr. Christopher M. Spofford is a licensed clinical psychologist in NH and RI. He completed his doctoral training at the University of Massachusetts Amherst followed by a post-doctoral fellowship year in OCD Research at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Prior to his graduate training, Dr. Spofford worked as a community residence counselor at McLean Hospital’s OCD Institute.
