Training Description:
I have been using Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy for several years, including during my time with the Vermont Center for Anxiety Care in Burlington, VT. I did my Ex/RP training with Edna Foa and her team at the Center for the Study and Treatment of Anxiety in Philadelphia.
Diversity Statement:
I worked in Egypt for several years, working with the general public, but most of my work was with African and Middle Eastern Refugee Assistance, a UK NGO and some work with the UNHCR on the Egyptian/Libyan border. I spent more than 30 years living abroad.
My education at Antioch University New England included multicultural competency training; however, my work in Egypt with Africans in the NGO setting and with English-speaking foreign nationals in my private office, provided the experience to go along with the training.
