Narrative of Services:

I worked for four years treating OCD and related disorders under the clinical supervision of respected OCD specialist, Lori Riddle-Walker and have spent a total of seven years in private practice. I have also received additional training in CBT, DBT, group therapy and Motivational Interviewing through the Community Research Foundation in San Diego, CA. I have also completed training in TF-CBT and in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) parts I and II. I received a Master’s Degree in MFT/clinical Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. My clinical experience includes hospitals, crisis centers, hospices and private practice.

When people come to me for OCD treatment I work with that first. However, many people also have co-occurring issues. In those cases I would collaborate with a client on a personalized treatment plan. For personality disorders I often employ DBT; for anxiety disorders including social anxiety, generalized anxiety, I use CBT and ACT; for PTSD and trauma, I employ EMDR, IFS, TF-CBT, and a psychodynamic perspective. For OCD I always employ treatment involving Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Response Therapy and Mindfulness techniques.

My clients come from diverse cultural, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds. I am LGBTQI affirming and respectful of my clients’ religious and cultural beliefs.
