Narrative of Services:

Our treatment centers provide individual, group, and family therapy, in addition to a Partial Hospitalization Program and an Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program five days per week. We treat all anxiety disorders and related conditions and specialize in utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention Techniques. The Anxiety Treatment center also offers Equine Therapy, a Phobia Track, and a Compulsive Hoarding Track. It is the longest standing facility in Northern California and the only program in the nation offering these services collectively, which also includes housing for those traveling from out of town.

Training Description:

Dr. Robin Zasio, Psy. D., LCSW has been specializing in treating anxiety disorders and related conditions for the past 16 years. She developed The Anxiety Treatment Center, Inc., The Cognitive Behavior Therapy Center, and more recently, The Compulsive Hoarding Center, all located in Sacramento, CA. Dr. Zasio serves on the Scientific Advisory Board, Clinical Advisory Board, and the Speakers Bureau for the International OCD Foundation, and Faculty for their Behavioral Therapy Training Institute. She is on the Advisory Board for the Sacramento Chapter of the National Alliance of the Mentally Ill where she writes a “Doctor’s Column” for their monthly newsletter. Dr. Zasio is also a featured doctor on the A&E hit series Hoarders, and Host of My Extreme Animal Phobia. In 2012 she published her first book The Hoarder in You: How to Live a Happier, Healthier, Uncluttered Life. She travels the country advocating for public awareness into proper treatment for anxiety disorders and working to reduce stigma. She is the President of OCD Sacramento, Inc.
