About the IOCDF Research Symposium
The Symposium is a forum for researchers and students from around the world to share data and findings from the latest research in the OCD and related disorders fields. An event designed “by researchers, for researchers,” this annual event brings together scientists to network, learn, and engage in high-level discussion.
About This Year's Symposium
The 7th Annual IOCDF Research Symposium will take place Thursday, July 7, 2022!
For the first time ever, it will be conducted as a hybrid in-person/online event. The in-person Symposium will take place in Denver, Colorado as a pre-conference event for the Annual OCD Conference, while an online option will be available for those who wish to attend the Symposium remotely from anywhere in the world. Online attendees will be able to view live presentations streamed from the in-person Symposium as well as participate in real-time Q&A with presenters.

Call for Proposals
We invite researchers of all backgrounds and levels of experience to submit a proposal or poster for the Symposium! Presentations on any research topic within OCD and related disorders will be considered.
Presentation proposals will be accepted online beginning Tuesday, January 4, 2022 through Monday, February 14, 2022 at 5pm EST. Applicants can expect to receive notification by the end of March 2022.
Call for Posters
The IOCDF is pleased to announce two unique poster session opportunities in July 2022! We invite researchers and students of all levels of experience to submit posters beginning Tuesday, January 4, 2022 for one or both of the following poster sessions in Denver, Colorado:
- IOCDF Research Symposium Poster Session (7/7/22) This poster session will take place as part of the annual IOCDF Research Symposium, a forum for researchers and students from around the world to share data and findings from the latest research in the OCD and related disorders fields, and an excellent networking opportunity for scientists. The Symposium will feature poster sessions that will be accessible online and in-person.
- IOCDF Researcher & Exhibitor Meet & Greet (7/922) Presenters at this poster session will have the opportunity to share their research with not only fellow researchers, but also clinicians, people with OCD, families, and all other attendees at the annual OCD Conference. This is an opportunity to educate the wider OCD and related disorders community about your work!
Research poster submissions will be accepted online beginning Tuesday, January 4, 2022 through Monday, February 28, 2022 at 5pm EST. Applicants can expect to receive notification in April 2022.
IOCDF Student/Trainee Members who submit a poster for the Symposium or Conference will be eligible for one of three cash prizes for outstanding research posters, as judged by an expert panel.
