Webinar: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder

Recorded Webinar | Adult

Comorbidities

Personality disorders are a common comorbidity in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The effect of comorbidity on the symptom presentation, course, and treatment outcome of OCD is not well understood. OCD and borderline personality disorder (BPD) can at times present with phenomenologically similar behaviors, for example, non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI), yet they arise from different underlying psychopathologies and can require differing therapeutic strategies. This webinar will review NSSI as a component of both pathologies when they co-occur.
